BP, congrats to you and the team, great job.

I'm excited just for the fact that the GameChanger is available in another guitar, even if initially in a limited fashion. You mentioned that the GC additions in functionality will be released over time as John wants/needs them. How will those changes be rolled out to the early adopters? I'm looking forward to being able to try one ASAP.

good to see you again Steve even if its virtual!

Thanks, BP. Good to be virtually seen!

Of course, this Majesty torture is perfectly timed since I just dropped all my free cash on an Xbox One for the kids for Christmas, and a new oscilloscope for myself! :) Sorry to read that someone took an unauthorized stroll through your photobucket. While that is 100% inexcusable, if you can take something positive away from the experience let it be that people are so highly interested in what you folks are doing that they would go to those lengths. Kudos to you for putting it in perspective and still sharing the Majesty with the rest of the gang.

I like some of the less obvious details on this guitar, like the deeply-recessed toggle switches, and the V shape at the bottom of the tremolo bridge cover. I'm assuming the toggle on the upper horn is for the piezo, yet I only see one output jack. Has the dual mono/TRS jack pair been retired in favor of a single TRS, or is this just because it's a prototype?

Hi all, long time since i dont write something here, my 2 cents:

People are just afraid of change, it is a natural normal way to respond with a negative attitude towards a change that people don't understand or don't expect, therefore the rest of us that are open to changes can expect that and undestand that bashing and been mean is just pure human basic nature, eventually some of them will get use to these changes and will dig all that involves it and make it a big success (BFR example), so BP, dont waste your time on these negative feedback, you already know what is coming next.

Now, the Majesty. It is just another example of a great piece of technology that eventually we will have access to! Imagine that! i just love it. Any other finishes for the JPM? BP? (I love the MD finish BTW)

Any hint as to when this guitar was going to get it's official reveal? Is it following the same timeline now, given everything that's happened, with regards to appearing on the Music Man website?

A bit more from the non guitarist point of view... I showed it to my Mom, who really likes JP's playing... She looked a second, raised her eyebrow, and went... hmmm. It wasn't a shocked hmmm... it was a "Hmmm, I actually like that..." I said, "It's quite unusual but...." and she interrupted and said "...yeah, it's quite unusual, but it looks really sharp, and its neat looking." This is a woman who crinkles her nose at any sort of V, or Explorer influenced guitar. LOL Tells me that the execution of this rather radical design was done with enough class that it doesn't throw it in the gimmick category, or in the radical design for radical design sake despite any playability challenges it might cause (I mean really, who can deal with the top wing of an Explorer when sitting down? LOL)

Would be great if JP uses the Majesty on their upcoming US tour next year. Or is he even allowed to use it before the "official" announcement from EBMM? Or will BP & EBMM officially announce the Majesty before JP tours the US with DT so he can use the Majesty on stage? Just wishfully thinking here. ;)

It seems very likely that he'll use it for the US tour, given that Steve was at least playing a prototype of it. At least I hope to see it on the tour!!

You never know, JP has used prototypes on tour in the past. (Original JP prototypes around 2000-2001, BFR prototypes a la 20th Anniversary Silhouette on the "Score" DVD)

The guitar he used on Score is still the JP version I would like the most. Still waiting for a limited edition 're-issue' of that...

Good opportunity to admire it once more I think...

Hahahaha now that's an unfair range.

Thanks anyway Pete. What about release date?

Based on his recent answer to your price question? I'm expecting his answer to be something like, "The release date will be some time after tomorrow."

Texas Finally!
Not sure if this has been mentioned and not going back and reading the whole thread:p

But has anyone seen the thread on TGP that is sooooo negative ! Drive BP point home about misconceptions, keyboard warriors and over all lack of information.

I read some of the posts and laugh at them and the one thing missing is someone pointing out that this is JP's design and input brought together by the staff of EBMM.

Anyway look forward to seeing and hearing more and well if GC is available I have an interest for sure:)

he will be using it a lot on the upcoming tour.
It would be fun to read these back to thewe people in a year....we get attacked for making an artist a guitar he desires and asked for...I can handle that
