nobody likes the first fret?

I can dig it! Never even thought about that and it would definitely make the most sense. Would the Majesty logo be inside the bullet/shield inlay or, would the majesty logo be stand alone and replace the JP shield all together? Either way I want the logo on that thing! I wonder what JP thinks of the idea.

Heres a really, really, really crapy prototype of what the shield with the Majesty may look like. I have work soon and wanted to just get this up on here ASAP. I'm sure someone who really knows how to use photoshop can make this look a thousand times better. I actually made this using Apples Pages.

A couple notes: Obviously, the inner perimeter boarder would have to be done perfectly and not done by hand (or at least done by more capable hands than my own) also, the JP initials would have to be a graphic (like the previous JPXI graphic) and not just be text from a word program. I think It'd look pretty sweet all polished up by a pro. I just placed it there to show placement of where they could implement the JP initials like all previous models excluding the JP13. Speaking of the JP13, since they completely axed the JP branding all together in the first fret they may not even want to implement the JP here.

Dont judge me! This does not speak to the quality of my work or, work ethic. haha...

Yes, the first fret will be fine.

I'd like to see the logo moved to the 12th, to replace the departed BFR inlay. The inlays look slightly out of balance now.

these threads are always fun...

speculation all over the place... i'm not a JP player... love the joint efforts and advancements though. I think JP and the gang at EBMM have done an incredible job pushing the envelope and getting us collectively to have our minds blown...

i'm just going to throw this out there... since it's speculation -

BP and JP both say this is different than any other JP model out there... and usually the tweaks between the models tend to show up fairly quickly - within a year or so...

JPx, JP11, JP12, JP13 - these modifications to the designs seemed to be a fairly quick process in matters of revealing itself to us knuckleheads, whereas, the Majesty has taken several years to develop and get right...

Im proposing that the JP Majesty is an acoustic electric guitar and that's why it's taking a bit longer in R&D to push out...

Yep. Miss the torture pics. I have nothing to say because if I designed guitars I would be broke! haha. Not my area of expertise. Patiently waiting on what you guys come up with.
