Help! Majesty plays then cuts out

I have a majesty. It plays for a few minutes, and then cuts out. If I unplug and plug in again, it will play for a few minutes and quit again.

It's not the amp or the cord since I used many different combinations of cords and amps. Another guitar I have works flawlessly.

Any suggestions?

... and don't leave a cable plugged into the guitar when you are not using it.. it uses the batteries when plugged in.
