unless you have tiny hands or something though i don't really see the merits, certainly the market isn't very big.

NO! musicmans are supposed to be heavy! and huge! and they make you strong!

whats the point of a shortscale bass anyways? i have one myself and wondered why they make them shorter?

While I don't think there'd be a huge demand for a stort scale Musicman, I would be pleased if there was one:)
I like the feel of the Fender Mustang/musicmaster, and I would definitely get a 30" fourstring Musicman bass if there was one.

again, may i refer you to the earthwood. They didn't do too well, it seems, that or they were just too difficult to make. Here's a thread.

My bad, I guess I wasn't specific, as thats not what I meant. I meant a semi-hollow bass like the R0b All3n or G0d!n A4 A5 stuff.

Acoustic bass guitars make no sense to me unless it is an upright. You still can't hear them unless you hook them up to an amp. The wavelength of the low frequencies are too long to properly resonate in any of these so called acoustic bass guitars.

But the semi-hollow bass is not going to be huge, yet could be the closest thing to an upright sound. I like this idea....
