I would be very surprised by anyone describing my iAMP500/Wizzy setup as "dry" when playing my Bongos.

I'm trying to think what a dry amp would sound like.
One more amp you might want to consider is the Genz Benz Neo Pak 3.5. I'm looking to pick one of these up as soon as I get some dough.
Ok, anyone compared these yet?
Eden WTX260
Markbass Little Mark II
Acoustic Image Clarus I
Acoustic Image Focus 1
Euphonic Audio iAmp300 (not sure this is available yet)
The older-model Eden WT-300 or 500 is a great amp. Great sound, 3-band parametric EQ, and 300w at 4 ohms. Mine powers Avatar 15" and 12" cabs, and has no trouble keeping up w/ an 8-piece funk band.

For me (YMMV, etc), the iAmp stuff is just too dry. Great for those guys who want dead clear reproduction - I should think the upright crowd would be all over these.
