Hey guys,
I have 2 EBMM stingray basses, an older 4 string and a newer 5 string, both with a H pickup. The 4 string has 2 band eq, and i don't really like it. If the pots are on 0, the sound is thin, but if i crank'em high, the bass sounds so fat and bright, but don't have healthy midrange. The 5 strings 3 band eq is great. sounds fantastic!
I've ordered a seymour duncan replacement eq and pickup, i think it'll be ok. My question is: nowdays classic stingrays and other 2 band eq basses has the same preamp or it's different than a 1993 stingrays eq?
Cheers,
