Those are 3 incarnations of the original Ford GT-40.

Yes John got to see the 7 string in nice bright sunlight and he went a bit ga-ga over the paint. The guitar still needs a final blocking to level it out, and then a body buffing, so it's not quite finished yet.

(who am I kidding, I just want to take the neck off it again)

Wow, I guess I'm late for dinner on this one. Usually, I don't resurrect old threads, but I had to comment on this one. Pete, that looks simply INCREDIBLE!!! Fantastic job!

Hint: I have an older guitar laying around here that could use a sparke makeover...:D

Thanks! Email me if you wanna get the other one painted up. I've got a JP here for a sparkle finish and I've most likely got an Ibanez coming up for neon Road Cone Orange. I'll do non-sparkle finishes too ;)
