I notice we have some Dallas area forumites that I haven't met!
My band, if we can be called that, is playing this weekend at the Highland Village Balloon Festival.

Apparently we are so popular that they've scheduled us twice.
Once on Friday night (18 August) at 10 pm and then again on Saturday (19 August) at 3 pm. I have to assume that on Saturday, given the weather, we will play until we actually burst into flames.
So we'd be more than happy to see you there. This is apparently a very BIG thing, like seven to ten thousand people. This is what I am told.
I cannot promise you that we will be very entertaining. We may actually turn into gelatinous lumps, given the heat, but I can promise you that I, Jack Williams, your moderator here on the EBMM Forum, will be there, playing Music Man basses to the best of my ability.
The band can be seen on video here:

All I can say about these videos is that you might not like me, but you will see the power of the single humbucker Bongo.
Anyway, come on out if you can.
And, while man cannot live by bread alone, I am told there will be beverages.
Jack
