Hello

I was watching the new live DVD from Flying Colors (live at the Z7) and my not-so sharp eyes have detected a second hole in Steve #1 guitar :

Anybody knows the story ? An output for a piezo or MIDI system I guess ?

By the way, nice DVD !

I'm pretty sure that was for a MIDI pickup - which also required cutting away part of the pickguard near the bridge.

Thanks for the answers.

For Steve, his guitar is really a tool. I really love the video where he explains how he reshaped the contour of the heel (and the face of Big Poppa is priceless !)

I love that spare Morse with white pickups and pickguard in the background during the show. Would love to see him play it one time, or see a closeup shot of it. It's purty.

We need to get Casey playing a lefty Morse guitar with Flying Colors now. I think it's awesome how much Casey respects Steve, and how patient Steve is with teaching Casey harmony parts on guitar for the live show. It's really a unique band in many respects, and their music is just magic to me. Both studio and live. My 5 year old son loves the song "A Place In Your World". All the guys slaughter that one. Portnoy sounds like Peart, Steve's parts are incredibly cool, and Dave's bass playing is perfectly in the pocket. That Bongo is the heat. LOVE FLYING COLORS!!!
