Hello all,
I haven't been on this forum for a while, but I have to relay a story to you all. So back in September I got my first Music Man (a De-Purple Burst Morse Y2D with a Floyd Rose). After a couple months of playing that guitar I could not take another second fiddling with a tremolo and got rid of it. I went back to my standard single-cutaway guitars and (I thought) wouldn't look back. However, over the course of the past month or so I began to realize I REALLY missed that Morse. The neck was amazing, and it sounded great. I cursed myself aloud daily for getting rid of it, but justified my choice by saying that I could never play a guitar with a tremolo on it anyway (I currently have NO guitars with tremolos) and some day I would've gotten rid of it regardless. But, try as I might I couldn't forget about it. I loved my Music Man. It's construction was far superior to the products of most (if not all) other companies. Determined that I had made the right choice, but knowing that I must have another Music Man, I settled on another Morse Y2D, but this time I found one with a stoptail, and with a nicer top (though to be fair the "worst" Music Man quilt/flame top I've ever seen in pictures is better than the nicest quilt/flame top I've seen on most other companies Custom Shop models). So anyways, my new Morse Y2D will be here on Wednesday or Thursday and I absolutely cannot wait to play a Music Man again. Thus ends my tale. Music Man is like the mafia, just when you think you are out, they pull you back in
(but in a totally good way).
