Help! Morse Y2D Tobacco Burst or Purple Sunset

hi forumites,

i´ve got a question for you....
after playing my Y2D trem purple sunset alot, i´m thinking about adding a hardtail version to it.
but i´m not sure about the color. i love purple sunset, it´s very unique and you don´t find another guitar out there with this color....but tobacco is although a killer....
so maybe you can help me to decide which one i should get.
keep in mind, that i´m still hoping that EBMM starts the production of the chambered Y2D in black burst this year...and this is a must have for me.

so which one would you go for?
tobacco or purple sunset?

btw.
- don´t like the d-purple (purple/blue burst) color, so this isn´t an option for me.
- feel free to post pictures of your hardtail Y2Ds

Well to me that's simple. Since u already have one in purple sunset, get the tobacco. Can't goo wrongwith having both

+1. You actually have no choice, but to get a different colour. So, unless You hate the TB, go for it. Seen it in person, it looks cool.

at first i really didn't like de-purple burst either......but after handling one......... it really turned around on me.very strange.......because i really disliked it so much......& now i like it so much.......

I would go for the Purple Sunset as there is no other guitar out there in that colour.

Since you already have one, the answer is obvious... Tobacco Burst.

that chambered Y2D is a must have so Joe I think it's wise for you to wait a little

I think the Trans Black looks great too. Not sure if that will be offered, but it is a great color on the Y2D.

no, it isn´t . the blackburst chambered floyd will be added to my collection - this is a fact. but it must be a floyd version, because the new ones can be bend upwards as well and my old Y2D is only for "dive bombs".

so at the end of the year (or next year) there should be three Y2Ds at my house, if EBMM adds the black chambered monster to the production line.

So to answer your question and confirm what Tommy said, I would go for Depurple burst it's also such a unique color

Second choice would go to Sunset Purple (think about Colin last purchase), then tobacco burst

but this is just my humble opinion sir, the choice is all yours

steve has an early (prob the first) y2d proto in purple sunset that has no binding. it is far and away my fav. janine (mrs. morse) has snatched that one up.

i´ve seen the pictures of that one at your pic gallery, that is really a nice one.

1 trem purple sunset is different from 1 hardtail purple sunset.

I voted Purple Sunset just because it's such a cool colour, but if you already have one in that finish, get the Tobacco.
