Any info anywhere on how to adjust / secure the trem arm on a Floyd Rose for MM Axis? Can't find info anywhere. Does the Back plate need to be removed to adjust a set screw? Floyd is black and very hard to see anything.

When was your Axis made? They have been equipped with several different types of double locking systems over the years.

If it is current production, then there are two grub set screws on the tremolo block to adjust the feel of the arm.

The first is on the back of the tremolo block, and to adjust it usually you dive down the tremolo until you can see it. This one adjusts how freely the arm swings.

The second is on the bottom of the tremolo block, under the arm. This helps keep the end of the arm secure against the spring that latches onto the end of the bar. Too far out, and there can be some play in the arm, and too far in, it can prevent the arm from going in far enough to lock in.
