A lot of folks selling things don't know what they have, the instruments history, etc., and may not care. And many won't say much because they're hiding something. I have been the recipient of both kinds. Either way that is not an awful price for what may simply be a fine guitar, just not the golden goose.

Thanks for the response, I guess I’m going to take a chance & purchase the guitar. I have more pics which are pretty much flawless for a 27 yr old guitar except for the questionable tone pot & will post a few of my own once I have it in my possession.
