I know all the probs with the sparkle finish but maybe you can work it out.

Nice idea would be to try a trans colour and put some sparkles in the clear coat.
Would take an AXIS trans black in that finish, thanks.
I expect it on X-mas , thank you guys

It is Black Sparkle and one of Lukes staple guitars. Beautiful instrument.

..or how about spray the guitar any normal colour ,and then before it dries tip a big jar of glitter over it?

Ain't gonna work. The finish won't be smooth & whenever you touch the guitar you're gonna get a handful of glitter.

Ain't gonna work either. In order to make it sparkle like the old finish you need a lot of glitter, that sort of defy the idea of painting it trans in the first place.

I'm such a downer, sorry...

why did derek start this thread? we just tried to clean up the data base at music man and we ran the combinations we have ofered and it was over 243,000! And never enough....I am looking at colors right now and also pickguard materials for Anaheim Namm

This will naturally entail discontinuing un popular colors that will also create an outpouring of demand once we cancel it. We couldnt give away gremlin green copperhead bronze sea foam green just for an example etc.....

Guys,

We will see if a particular color gets a lot of votes. If so we may consider making a limited run color for a certain model.
Were not talking Custom shop here just getting some idea's for limited edition colors.

Suggestion for LE color

Surely I am not the person who killed this thread.

So I just saw "Copperhead Bronze" for the first time.
A little internet research shows that BASF did a color called "Copperhead Bronze" and their's is a "shifting" color. The shift is not as extreme as Mystic Dream but I thought it was pretty cool. I really like the acid washed copper pickguards on these as well.

i dont mind the colors but you HAVE to give the choice of matching OR non matching cause i wont buy anything new without a matching Stock!
