FOR SALE OR TRADE

Please understand that Ernie Ball is the only guitar manufacturer to provide a “For Sale Or Trade” service. This service is also free of charge. It is expected that the rules are strictly adhered to by all posters who use this privilege.

The rules, set out below, have evolved over time at the collective request of fellow Forum members in an attempt to overcome issues that have arisen from time to time.

*Sellers, Buyers and Traders are to take full responsibility for their transactions. EB will not accept liability.
*Disputes will not be mediated nor resolved by EB or Moderators.

POSTING RULES:

1) Before posting an advert you will need a posting history of at least 25 previous posts throughout the Forum over a period of at least one month. Most importantly, you must be a contributing member of good standing in the forum community. In borderline cases, Moderators will review your posting history and will remove your advert if they deem necessary. 'Serial posting' in an attempt to obtain 25 posts in a short time period of time is not allowed.

2) Only EB/MM items may be advertised.

3) No advertising for a friend.

4) In the case of a sale, state the selling price.

5) Asking for payment by PayPal gift option is not allowed.

6) Do not link your post to an on-line auction (e.g. Ebay) or to any other media where you may have placed your advert.

7) No comments please. If you need to compliment, ask/answer questions, or negotiate then do so by private message.

8) Posts will expire after a month but you are at liberty to re-post your advert after that time if you wish.

9) Please delete posts when transactions have been finalized.

10) Please limit the number and size of photographs in your posts. Maximum of 5 photos per post (less is OK too). You can privately share more photos with interested buyers when they contact you.

Note: Failure to observe any of the above rules will result in automatic deletion of your posts and, in some cases, the possibility of being either temporarily or permanently banned.

Many thanks!

2012 Limited Edition PDN (Private Dealer Network) Steve Morse Y2D. Honeyburst color over quilted/birdseye maple cap, pau ferro board, beautiful roasted birdseye maple neck, stainless steel frets, mahogany body, OHSC.
Chrome Dunlop Dual design strap buttons added.

$2,600 shipped in the U.S.

This is an awesome guitar, but my hands are on the smaller side and I prefer shorter scale necks these days over the 25.5" scale.

Hey Knuckleheads -

So this one hurts on many levels. I'm selling what I believe is a 1 of 5 Silhouette Special in Mint Green, with a tinted Maple neck with Gloss finish. I've only seen one other one surface over the years.
Reason for sell - this was an engagement gift from my soon to be ex-wife. I just will not be playing and played it very little over the last 13 years of ownership. Comes with a BFR case that I bought from Pete Dubaldo.

for full disclosure - I'm the second owner and the original owner put in a dimarzio hot rails that I swapped out for a Velvet Bridge to closely match the custom pups. sounds amazing plays great. Just letting it go - don't need the memories.
I'll post pictures tomorrow. due to rarity I'd like to discuss pricing privately with interested parties. I'm not asking a fortune but want to discuss perceived value with the right party

I have a like new Silhouette Special black pearloid pickguard that I no longer have a use for. Unique for the squared humbucker hole will accommodate an EMG (which was my reason for having this) and may also accommodate a covered humbucker. It would certainly also work with an uncovered humbucker just with square vs. rounded corners on the PG. Mounted briefly for an EMG test them I returned to the stock configuration.

If anyone has a need or interest PM me to discuss value, etc. to USA addresses.

There’s only one reason to off a Music Man guitar: to get another Music Man guitar.
In my long and generally enjoyable search for the guitar that suits me best (or best suits me), I find that it’s the Albert Lee. As a bassist (for lack of a less descriptive term), I cheaped out for decades on the skinny stringed instruments. About 5 years ago I think I was probably drinking (I don’t do that anymore but I do miss it) and went a bit bonzo and next thing you know there was an Orange Crush in my house.
Now, I’ve added a P90s version, white with full rosewood neck. The OC is my OG, my ride or die, but now it has competition. I don’t deserve these fabulous tools but I’m gonna keep them anyway.

But! I don’t have an SSS and I know you’re going to agree that this is no way to spend my golden years (when not at Golden Corral). If you have an SSS and this is important so Imma cap lock it, WITH A ROSEWOOD BOARD, we should talk about a trade for my perfectly fab Silhouette seen in the attached photo.

Or we can discuss a purchase even though I’m not all that trustworthy.

XOXO
Jack

WTS LOCAL-Seattle only: JP15

I adore this axe, but I'm in cancer recovery and it's just somewhat too heavy for me. It's not a heavy guitar. I just need to stick to ultralights.
It's a standard JP15 from, I believe, 2017 or so, with great neck figuring and a fantastic quilt. It's in near-mint condition. No mods.

Asking $2.6k picked-up from Seattle area. I am willing to travel through the East-side some if it's convenient.
