Hi everyone!! First day here and I'm real happy I found this site. I'm curious to know the birthday of my baby and what the finish is actually called? The dealer told me it was called Honey, but I couldn't find that color anywhere except honeyburst, and it isn't that, I am assuming it is just a translucent Natural finish? Natural finish with a gloss, the Serial number is 55710. Thanks for any help and info. Peace, and Love!

I think you answered your question in your previous post? We do not have those serial numbers in our current database since it's Pre-EB so that website that you referenced is the best resource for dating your bass. As for what it's worth, you may want to check past sales history on Ebay to see what similar instruments are going for. Welcome to the forum!

Hi All, a newbie here (if you hadn't seen my post count! ). My EBMM Ray has a serial number 26859 as I was wondering if someone could help me date it. Im not the original owner and Im guessing that it might be circa 98 but any further info would be great.

just got new Stingray 4 in red with matching headstock and 3EQ serial number is E49494. From looking at the serial number site it looks like 2005 which means it has been i the shop a long time.

Hi Dave - Your bass was done on February 23, 2000. It shows in the database that it originally had a fretted rosewood fingerboard on it. But that color is pretty rare as it is!

Thats very interesting as the bass was bought new from a UK shop where it had been stock from 2001. Wonder when it was changed
