Hey I was wondering if I could get a quick check on these two JPs. The first in a Mystic Dream JP6: G61947

The second is a Sky Blue JP7: F42456

I was wondering the date of them and if they have stainless frets? They do have the updated trem baseplate but I'm not sure if that's an indicator of stainless frets or not.

Thank you so much!

G61947 - January 11th, 2012 - Nickel Frets
F42456 - April 24th, 2013 - This probably has nickel frets but it is possible they are stainless steel. We switched over to stainless steel starting with all NAMM orders 2013. These orders were taken in January and produced late April or early May. We don't have a way of telling for certain based on the serial number.

Hi everyone,

I bought yesterday a StringRay 4 with the serial 33169. A dream made when I was a teenager come true...

It's a maple neck and the body is blue, slightly green, a lit bit translucid.

I'm very curious about all informations I could get about this EBMM. I was told it was built in 1991. (can't check)

Thanks a lot

I have another question about my bass #E18727, is the fretboard treated or untreated? It's maple.
And do you have the original color combo (body/pickguard) Sorry if this is double posting..
Thanks

Thanks a lot A.J. !

By the way (to everybody) : I miss the metal part that holds the mute pads.

I've realized that's it's not available now, nowhere (I understand the production what stopped circa 1995).

Do anyone have already tried to do it hilmself ?

It looks like a sheet of stainless steel folded in two after being cut at the right dimensions with the right holes.

I'd like to try to do it, so if anyone could give me the dimensions, the work would be easier. (in millimeters please, I live in Europe)

cheers
