Hi I'm brand new to MM basses and this forum. If I could get the DOB on my Sterling Ray34 that would be awesome!
The number is SR22400

Thanks!

Unfortunately we don't have the production records for the Sterling by Music Man instruments. Here is a link to their contact page, Home | Sterling by Music Man.

Hi, I'd like the build details of my 2011 SR Classic. Not sure if the board is ebony or very dark rosewood.

I have the opportunity to trade a 2013 Rick for a 2008 MM Stingray 4, Translucent Jade (?) with white pearloid pick guard and maple fretboard in mint condition with case. He says it's a Limited Edition, which makes it more valuable, but the plate does not say "Limited Edition." I want to make sure I'm making a good one for one trade, but I cannot find any information on a 2008 Limited (or Special) Edition in translucent Jade and I've done a ton of research. Does anyone know if there is such a thing? I can't find the serial number in the database. The serial number is E65077.

This StingRay 3EQ was completed on January 4th, 2008. The color is Translucent Teal with the Maple neck & matching headstock. It was originally shipped to Guitar Shop. It's not limited edition as those were standard options at that time, we are not currently offering this color for new order on the StingRay model though.

E62661 is coming up as a StingRay 3EQ (4 string) in Vintage Sunburst, is there any chance the serial number could be something different?

I have a question, what kind of wood to do the fingerboard ( the guitar StingRay 5, number E78790 ). Or fingerboard is doing of Ebony or whole maple?Thank you for the answer.
