Hi, I have a Ernie Ball Music Man JP6 with the serial number G25135. Is this real and what was its DOB?
This JP6 was completed on October 5th, 2004. The color is Envy Green with the Rosewood fretboard, JP inlays & matching headstock. It was originally shipped to Sound Pure LLC. This was from a limited edition run that was only open for order from July-September of 2004.
This one is coming up as an EVH in the database. Is there any chance the serial number could be something different?
Only this number on back of the headstock....

Thanks for providing the photo. This was completed in 1988. In the late 80s, there was a brief period where serial numbers were stamped into the back of the headstock and the first 2 digits were the year. When the serialized neck plates came around some of those serial numbers were duplicated. So there is an EVH that was built after this that has the same serial number and that is what is in our database. Sorry we don't have the color, originally shipped to or the exact date for this one.
