Hi. Could you help? I've got a lovely (and well worn, loved and played over meany years) MM Stingray 2-eq in red with maple neck. I think it's mid-late 80s, I've owned it since '92 when it had already enjoyed many years of use, but it would be great to have some more info. Serial number on the bridge is 26022. Many thanks!

Stingray 4H #E47851 - This StingRay 3EQ was completed on July 25th, 2005. The color is Tobacco Burst with the Maple neck & matching headstock. It was originally shipped to Humbucker Music.

Stingray 4HH SLO Special #E72305 - This StingRay HS was completed on December 2nd, 2009. The color is Candy Red with the Slo Special Maple neck & Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

Sterling 4HS #F14575 - This Sterling HS was completed on November 2nd, 2006. The color is Natural Gloss with the Maple neck. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

Thanks for the fast reply! I made a mistake on the serial... it should be B050928, not B050921. No wonder the colour did not match. I assumed the production year would still be 2010, but I'll be interested in knowing the exact date and where it was sent to.

32352 - This StingRay 2EQ was completed on February 19th, 1991. The color is Trans Red with the Maple neck (fretted). Prior to the 2000s, a mix of Ash, Alder & Poplar were used for the body wood. The Trans Red color was usually Alder for the body wood. It was originally shipped to High Tech.

53851 - This StingRay 5 was completed on August 6th, 1993. The color is Black with the Maple neck (fretted). Poplar was usually used for the body wood on the black finish. It was originally shipped to Rhythm City Inc.
