In the 90s we used a mix of Alder, Ash & Poplar for the body wood. The serial number database doesn't specify that information for each specific instrument, but the trans red was most commonly Alder.

This StingRay 5 was completed on August 25th, 1995. The color is Sunburst with the Rosewood fretboard. In the 90s, we used a mix of Alder, Ash & Poplar for the body wood.
