Hi, I just picked up this beautiful EBMM Stingray 5 HH in Cherry BlackBurst finish, w/ matching head stock. It's totally insane. When was it made?
s/n is E57814

Thanks,
RD

That pic is a bit deceiving, it actually looks much darker than it appears. Unfortunately my camera died a week after I got the bass and that pic was taken at it's first show.

Yes, I would definitely say that your bass is a Honeyburst. Why the neck plate change, I don't know. But you have a very sweet bass there!

I will investigate further when I get a chance.

Hey Danno,

That green Stingray on eBay was delivered to the buyer (thread is down below).

"The serial # on the neck plate is E58110. Any info about this serial # would be great. "

What did that thing start its life as?

Dan,

Would you be so kind to give me details on SR5, E18323?
I bought it in 2000 and curious when it was made and what info you have on it.

Thank you

Sure, that bass was completed on 11/03/00 and was shipped to GC #842 in Fairfax, Virginia. We show it as a Pearl Purple maple with a matching 'stock. Nice - not too many were made in this color.

Jack, not sure what the story is on this yet, but it was supposed to have left here as a Trans Red StingRay with a rosewood board.

Omson, Your bass was shipped on 1/11/07. Now Gav can add it to his site.
