I just got myself a honey burst coloured Sterling w/ maple neck. The serial number it carries is F12396. The seller (Kitarapaja) dated it 2005, would that be correct?

The staff @ Kitarapaja Ltd. also mentioned that the original owner most likely bought it from USA. It would be nice to hear what your database has to say

Phil, your Bongo was completed on 9/10/04. It has a Desert Gold finish and should have a white ice pickguard.

Congratulations on your new bass!

The completion date of your Sterling is January 14 2005. So your seller is correct on 1 out of two things. He was incorrect on the other. Your bass was originally shipped to Germany. All of the other information matches beautifully with our records.

This bass was completed on 8/12/05, and is a Blue Pearl finish Sterling with a maple board and black pickguard.. It was sent to a Long & McQuade store, looks like Edmonton (Canada).
