Garry, actually this one was completed on 6/14/88 and shipped to our UK distributor, Strings & Things Ltd. It is a Trans Blueburst. Looks like the pickup may have been changed, or at least the cover. I used to have one just like this that I bought in 1991, my first Music Man! Cool beans

Hi Dan,

Saw a trans red body without a neck on it. SRN on the bridge plate is #25163, and has a four bolt neck plate. Do you have any info on that one. I'd appreciate any info, especially whether the body is still in original finish and what neck was originally on it.

oli, yes, this thread is really for folks who actually own their instruments. Please email with inquiries like this at [email protected] - Thanks, Dan

Mm Sr5 #54411

Hi there!

I've owned my SR5 for a good decade now and was wondering what its date of birth is.
The serial number is 54411.

It has an un-polished neck and is a translucent orange/cherry burst that I haven't seen on anyone elses SR5....

I am deeply, DEEPLY in love with it......"yes baby Im talking about you, who's daddy's favourite little stinger? Yes YOU! How would you like a fresh set of slinky's? " *Hugs and kisses SR5*

Cheers!

Wow, you two wanna knock that off? j/k -

your StingRay 5 was completed on 3/17/94. The finish is Sunburst, now known as Honeyburst, though the finishes are different now. Nice! Have you had it since it was new?
