Just got back from Sacramento with this one...serial # E43219. :)

Shamus, another one! This Trans Gold beauty was completed on 8/17/04 and originally was shipped to Bass Northwest in Seattle sporting a white pearloid pickguard, maple board and a matching headsatock.

Nice~

hi tnx...ive checked the bass again, actually its in the 2nd hand shop here in japan...there is a warranty card named ''kanda shokai corporation'' model is Stingray EX SB/M- S/N E01674...is this a copy only?

Nice bass! Yes, Kanda makes these for sale out of Music Man parts for sale "only" in Japan - they are of fine quality as far as I understand. Kanda Shokai would have records if anyone does on that, you can get their information from this page: http://www.ernieball.com/international-dealers/

S/N is B015517
#98 of 100

Could you please provide me with the DOB?

Is there something else I should know about the NAMM beauty's?

This is one of the last ones built - I think we had to wait on the last few necks to come from Status Graphite is why.

5/09/01 is your beauty's big day - it originally shipped to the renowned Imperial Guitar & Sound in Newburgh, New York.... nice! ;)

More info on the 100th can be found elsewhere on this thread: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/mus...an-serial-number-database-149.html#post485590

Thanks for the info and compliments, Dan!

Yeah, I drove to Sacramento to purchase this from the original owner.

He was pretty bummed to let it go, and it was useless to try and console him with a big sh*t-eatin' grin on my face! :D

Your latest has a build date of 7/27/06 and it was originally shipped to the Twelfth Fret, Toronto.

Looking for the build date for a used SR5 ser. E12138. Gav's site lists it as 02/00, the sticker on the bass pot reads 11-16-99 ML. Also it's a one-piece body and I was wondering what wood it is (ash most likely?). Thanks!
