My friend wants to get the same info about his 2nd hand 30th anniversary SR 4H, and since he doesn't know much about the internet, I told him i'll get the info for him.

His SR's Serial number: E55863

Thanks Dan!

She is a beauty. I was just curious did the paint finish job on it have a special name or something because when the sun hits it, it turns purple. It has like a cameleon like look to it. It's a really nice looking bass...i'm in heaven. =) And I always wanted a Sting Ray but this Sterling is on the money, I love the size of it.

Boone

Boone, one of the cool things we do here to get the "pearl" look is to use black undercoats similar to what Harleys use .. it can do some cool things in the right light.

Ok, I just got the info on my MM:Sterling pearl blue serial #F15011 but bad news. I took it into GC for a set up (because I love super low action) and the tech found out that the neck was twisted and they weren't even suppose to sell it because they knew of the problem. To make a long story short I have a new one with the Serial #
F21705. Can I get info on this new one please, thanks!

Two Sterlings - desire date of manf...

Have two to add to the database - if you can date them (please).

Sterling FRETLESS (unlined) - Natural - Ebony(???) board - black pg - with lots of 'birdseye' on neck and headstock - F03123 .......perhaps a 2000 or 2001.

Sterling HH - Pacific Blue Burst w/MPHS - Rosewood board - black perloid pg - F18565....should be spring/summer of 2007.

powers, our on fretless boards we use pau ferro instead of ebony. It is actually a harder wood. This bass was completed on 12/06/01 and was originally shipped Bass Northwest. Nice I bet!

F18565 shows a build date of 6/27/07 and was shipped to GC Chicago.

All reet!

Thanks Dan. And one (yea right!) more Q perhaps. ..on a Sterling with a "Natural" finish is there a "matching headstock" option or is there another treatment to the headstock, or just 'plain'

John.
