I'm going to go out on a limb here........

.......and assuming my "Dargie Delight" - Sterling HS, w/mhs was made in 2007…can "we" get any closer on the date. S/N - F15963

Thanks - John.

Augments the:
2001 Sterling H 'unlined fretless' Natural w/mhs and
2007 Sterling HH Pacific Blue Burst w/mhs
I guess a piezeo must be next !

Fred, welcome to the Forum! Your Trans Red StingRay with an all-maple neck was completed on 9/1/95 and was originally shipped to the House of Guitars in Rochester, New York.

Thaks a lot !!
It seems she had a long road to be in France Today !

When you say all-maple neck, it seems only one piece of maple ?

Fred -

When we make a solid maple neck, the neck is cut horizontally lengthwise, routed for the trussrod, the trussrod is inserted. Then the neck is carefully glued back together so it is barely detectable that it was ever apart. :D

Your StingRay 4 was built on 9/13/07 and was shipped to our distributor in Mexico. It has a Translucent Teal finish, Rosewood fretboard, and a black ice pickguard.

Cool!

I just got another EBMM today, this thing is a closet classic! I was wondering how old this one is, the serial number is on the bridge and it is L00502.

It's light, beautiful and a life long keeper! I just got off the phone with A.J., it just crys out for a tort guard. :D

Thanks!

Hey Psycho, this baby was completed on 7/24/96. It was shipped to Rawson Music in Tulsa, OK. Since that was the first year we offered lefties of any kind, I would venture to guess this was one of the first of the breed!
