:rolleyes:It was shipped to Sweden, I bought it in Belgium, went to work in China for 1 year with it, then moved to Korea for a year and now i'm living in Malaysia - and this is where the humidity is a parameter... Could it be stress crack from too much travelling?:p
Thanks for the info , Dan

Seems likely to me. ;) I wouldn't worry too much about it.

applecheck, congratulations and welcome! Your StingRay was completed on 9/29/08 and was shipped to Sweden. Very nice!

Bought in westside Norway in Bergen if anyone wondered. And i see that the bass is completed on a monday. Is that a good or bad sign :p

thanks Dan,
I will stick a picture up later to see if you can tell, did you get a DOB on her.

Dave

Dave, sometimes we use a 3-piece body - and the way the craftsman in our wood mill match them up it looks more like a 1- piece body than a 2-piece does.

Yeah my natural fretless stingray was the same - 3 piece but I could have sworn it was a 1 piece when I first got it. It really was incredibly matched.

Oh and I got another serial number here...F12175

Please date my bass

I've just bought an Ernie Ball Stingray 5 in transluscent honeyburst - truly the most beautiful bass I have ever seen. The serial number is E13867. Any idea of its DOB, materials used and where it was initially shipped to.

Many, many thanks,

Date and material Musicman Stingray

Hi, I just bought a nice all Black Stingray.
I'm wandering what date it is, and what kind of wood is used.
[The wood of the neck looks almost black ?]
Any other information is welcome!

Serial: 42522
