Thanks

Dasgre, your StingRay 5 was completed on 2/22/05 and was sent to the bass player of the band Disturbed. Matte black finish, right? Very cool at any rate.

Dan,

Thank you very much for the information. The bass just arrived! Mint condition 2-band Stingray, Pearl purple/Maple/Matching headstock. I'm so glad it's not like "Barney purple"! :D Much darker. More like Minnesota Vikings purple. Please tell me as much as you can about it. Thank you.

Serial #: E17424

Don, not that I know of- the 1996 run, I am pretty sure, was just Sterlings. But in 1999, Pearl Purple was introduced as a standard color for all instruments - I suspect yours was made in that time period (1999-2001) but we can find out when we get the serial#.

Oh - and no, we have never used purple covers for StingRays.

Yep. That is it. Thank you Dan! He's a local down here in Austin so that how I ended up with it. I love it. LOTS of wear from some real touring but still sounds and plays great

Oh Great one what can you tell me about Stingray 4 H with Serial # E11896? I know it is Red but I am curious if it is Fiesta Red? What is the born on date, body and neck wood, pickup type and anything else you can tell me about it? I know it has the 2 band Preamp but is it the same one that I have in my Fiesta Red Classic with Serial number B050505? ...Thanks and God Bless!

Peace,

T

Hi Dan,
Well i just added yet another Sterling to the stable. Picked it up online from Guitar center in Plano,TX from a very knowledgable helpful employee Sam.
Serial # D07684 not listed in the database.
Looks like blue pearl with yet another amazing birdseye maple neck.
These EBMM basses are simply the best!
Any info would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks again for all you do for us,and EBMM.

Bongo 4HH Stealth

Hola,

This is my first post to the forums, I was so happy to see that this thread existed!

I just got a Stealth Bongo 4HH on eBay and I love it but I know little of its origin. The serial number is F13507. Any help you can provide in identifying it's DOB would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Tommi, this StingRay has a Fire Engine Red finish with a maple neck and matching headstock. The FER finish was only in production for a short time, partly due to the color not quite being a red but rather more of an red-orange finish. This particular one was completed on 1/18/00.

Your Fiesta Red Classic was completed on 10/26/09.

Dan

Hi Frank - This one was done on Halloween :) 10/31/97 and originally sent to the Guitar Center in Dallas, TX

Just bought a Bongo (4H) with S/N F10324. Can you tell me build date and also verify color+pickguard, please. I think it is Lava Pearl and Moonstone, but I'm not 100% sure.

Your new Bongo was done on 6/15/04 and you are correct on the color and pickguard, Lava Pearl and Moonstone. Nice combo!
