I would like to know more information about my new Stingray 5. Serialno is 55487, under the neck staes the date sept 6 1994 and VINTAGE. The SR5 has the colour Vintage Sunburst and has an increible neck, I believe its birdseye maple.

I would like to know if it has got Ceramic or Alnico pup, maybe the name of the wood from the neck.

hi, just picked up my second Stingray - 15 years after I sold my first.
it's a 1989 Stingray 3 EQ - serial no: 28176 - been re-finished in white and had a fretted board fitted but do you have any detail of original finish D.O.B etc.

Thankx for the info. This means that my Bongo is born on the same day as my daughter!! (the Bongo is just 4 years younger).
Now I can never sell it. (Not that I had any intention of doing so;-)

It should be Roasted BFR black sugar SR4 2011. with black pg?
