Hello. I'm new here. I have a Music Man Sting Ray Bass. I don't play anymore and want to sell it. I have no idea how much it's worth since I bought if from a recording engineer/friend ten years ago for only 200.00. I am certain it is worth a lot more than that.
I have scoured this site but can't find any info on the serial number. It doesn't have any letters in front of it and only reads: 32378. The serial number is located on the bridge. "Music Man" is etched into the rear of the bridge. Any guesstimate on its value and age would be very helpful. Thank you.

I am happy to be the proud owner of one fine sounding (gently used) Stingray Classic IV. The tone knocked me dead... Whoa!! :-0 It wasn't the bass I was originally interested in when I went "shopping", but the Classic, w/the mutes, sucked me into the MM vortex of killer tone! I'm now looking for it's D.O.B. 032378 - DOB: 03/21/91, black SR4 2EQ.
Unfortunately, we don't deal in the used market, so I can't give you an estimated value. Your best bet is to check out ebay for listings of the same model with around the same DOB to find out an approximate value.
