Two Bongos whose birthdays I'd like to celebrate
Bongo 4 - F41445
Bongo 6 - F24169

As for the Bongo 6, the color is discontinued. Can you tell me what the name of that color was? Just out of curiosity. Thank you very much!

Bongo 4 - F41445 July 31st, 2012 Pearl Blue
Bongo 6 - F24169 September 29th, 2009 Orange Firemist

Hi.. first post here! I own 2 sterlings, but there's one that I would love to see any kind of information you can get on it!
It's a special edition sterling that was the price in a european music competition called "emergenza" that ernie ball used to sponsor. It's got an ugly wacky paint job, but other than that I don't know much about it.

The serial is: F03565.. Would be very thankful for any information, and if its possible to learn what kind of wood the body is made out of?

That was completed on January 26th, 2001. The body would is ash.

Thank you, A.J.! I have another SN I'm curious about: F18815.

October 19th, 2007

Thx, do you also know the coulor and the woods used? (f00292)

Translucent Red and it should be an ash body. May 6th, 1998. The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard.

what colour is pickguard. Thank you.

We shipped it with a white ice pickguard

and another one, please :)
SR4 E01006
thank`s!

April 21st, 1998 Trans Red

Hi! I'm looking for a DOB of my SR4. Serial number is 38934. It's probably '93, but I must be sure. Thanks!

Barely! December 1st, 1993

Hi, Asking about Stingray 5. The serial number (I hope) is on the bridge: 55524. Please could you let me know detail information such as DOB, original colour of the body, neck specifications, pickguard colour, body wood, pickup, and to which country it was shipped. Any other additional information would be great. Thanks a lot.

What do you call the finnish on this one? Was it lacquered in your factory or was the paintjob done in europe? Once again, serial is: F03565

Unfortunately we do not have information about this bass in our database.

That comes up as a custom finish that we did here. It doesn't name the finish though.

This bass was completed on March 6th, 1995. It is most likely an ash body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The pickup is ceramic and it was originally shipped to American Music in the USA. The color at the time was called sunburst, however we call it honeyburst these days. I don't have any information on the pickguard.

Hi,
Can you tell me the colour of my Stingray 5, serial number E13758?

Thanks a lot,
Giacomo

Your bass, completed on March 30th, 2000, is translucent purple in color.

My other Stingray 5 has the serial# E54672. I was looking for the date of manufacture for this too.

Thanks a lot!

I don't have much info on this bass. The body is ash (natural finish) the neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard. I don't have any information regarding the original pickguard. It was completed April 15th, 1991. PM me your location and we can help you source a mute kit.

Most likeley late 1978 or 1979. Records for Pre-EB don't exist and serials are not chronoloical. Dates are located on the neck heel and in the neck pocket on the body. Maple and fretted Rosewood were the original neck options. From 1980, although they continued with Maple, the Rosewood became fretted rather than fretless. At the same time, fretless changed to Ebony. Colour choices were Natural (Gloss or Satin), Black, Sunburst, White, Walnut (Brown) and Inca Silver.
