Hey AJ, thanks for your quick reply. I am slightly confused. This bass has an ebony fretboard, all black hardware, unfinished maple neck and a graphic on the back. Is it possible the neck could have been swapped out at a later date? I attached a few pictures.
Your bass is definitely black sparkle and it was completed on June 19th, 2002.
Looking closer at this the bass was shipped to an artist so its possible that over the years parts were swapped, etc.
That serial number belongs to a Sterling completed on February 25th, 1994.

Hello there Tiffles! That Sterling is actually orange firemist and it was completed on November 17th, 2008.
That serial number belongs to a Sterling 4 in Honeyburst completed on June 29th, 2001.
