I was also wondering if there was any further information regarding that serial, ie it is finished in a Cherryburst finish with a birdseye maple neck and matching headstock.
Do you know if this is the original finish/neck ??

We don't have much documented information regarding those early basses. What is listed as "Sunburst" in our system at that time was more like a honey burst.

February 16th, 2006; ash body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard; blue pearl color
Tell me please about my STING RAY 4 ser. E66476, I suspect that the deck is not made of ash may poplar, I would like to ask you what the tree is made of and what his own color?
Completed June 26th, 2008 E66476 brings up a Vintage Sunburst Stingray5 HS with an ash body and maple neck.
