I just looked at the neck off the trans blue beasty and it has 2 dates .

the first is ink stamped, the second in blue ink pen;

1:jun 1 1988
2:6|13|1988

there is also a small "s" tapped into the wood as well as a capital "K" .

Three for Beth...

Hi, Beth -

I'd love to know the pedigrees of my three basses:

Sterling: F04828 (should have been shipped to Sam Ash)
SR5: E18553
Bongo: F08266 (I think it was sold through Bass Central)

Thanks!

For the database: one Sapphire Black Bongo 5 HHP, with a black ice pickguard, serial number F10868, completed October 22, 2004.

Thanks for creating and maintaining this list.

thanks for the welcome Rod... lots of very cool things here. I feel like I belong here with all the other EBMM bass freeeks! I am surprised that this place remained unknown to me for sooooo long....

higher1,

I would have thought 50606 was a 1989 Bass. The serial must not be chronological order. Can you remember which date was on the neck and which was on the body?

My bad......it's an F05635 NOT an E05635
I know it's only about 3 years old as I bought it from the original owner who special ordered it from Sam Ash because they worked there.

Just bought a Honeyburst unlined fretless, white pickguard. I love it!

Serial number 08151, six screw neckplate with the old logo.

I'm guessing it's 1996/7.
