Can I have Dob, colour (trans red, but darker than my other SR), body wood, any other details. I think it has a "Flea" bridge (mutes, offset grooves on saddles)

Chicho - what we call honeyburst now was called sunburst back in 1993 - I have one also!! Vintage sunburst was a custom order colour and pretty rare in that era.

Your S.U.B. 5 2EQ was completed on November 14th, 2003. The color is textured white. It was originally sold to Strings & Things LTD.



Serial number 38228 comes up as a StingRay 3EQ that was completed on July 28th, 1993. The color is sunburst with a rosewood fingerboard. Any chance the serial number could be something different?

Can you tell me whether the EQ is boost/cut or boost only? And which preamp it features?

They are cut and boost but there is no center detent. It features the current preamp we've been using for quite some time.

Your StingRay 3EQ was completed on October 27th, 1994. The color is translucent red. The body wood is a mix of Ash, Alder and Poplar. Our serial number database doesn't have information on the bridges, but the flea bridges were used circa 1992-1994. They had the mutes, offset grooves, straight string pull and the grooves are sized for each individual string. It was originally sold to Strings & Things LTD.

Our database is showing serial number 39810 as a StingRay 4 3EQ in the natural color with the maple neck that was completed on February 4th, 1994. Any chance the serial number could be something different?

Your StingRay 4 HH (S/N:E72031) was completed on March 11th, 2009. It was originally sold to Guitar Center.

This StingRay 2EQ was completed on November 16th, 1993. The color is translucent red with the rosewood fingerboard. The Flea style bridges were used in 1993. This one was originally sold to Music Box.

This StingRay 5 was completed on March 15th, 2013. The color is ivory white with the rosewood fingerboard and matching headstock and gold hardware. It was originally sold to Guitar Center.

We don't have information on which Music Box location originally sold this Bass. It's possible the neck could have been swapped by the dealer.

This Bongo was completed on August 17th, 2006. The color is sapphire black. It was originally sold to Guitar Center.
