Hi,
I've just purchased a SR4, S/N D07856.
Could I please have the build date of this instrument, and also advice on what color the original scratch plate was?
Currently it's fitted with a hand made timber scratch plate.
Body is a natural timber, which I assume is Ash, fretboard is rosewood. Any info on neck timber?

Prototype Bongo bought on Ebay?
Last week I took delivery of a rather unusual Bongo 4 HS. The serial number is F06698. What makes this bass unusual is that it has a recess to accept a Piezo bridge although the electronics don't support it. It also has 4 holes through the body so that it can be strung from the back although the bridge is a standard Bongo part and will not allow it. I sent an email to Ernie Ball and they have no record of it. It was sold as a custom artist 2003 model. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Call me mad, but it happened again - and I knew it. Because again a used EB - bass came to my home to stay.
This time it is a Bongo 5 with all - rosewood - neck, it comes in sterling silver. The Serial Nr. is F 42850.
Please, give me all the informations you have about this bass, so as D.O.B. and where it was shipped to originally.

Completed on October 2nd, 2014. It was originally shipped to Musician's Friend.
Completed on November 19th, 1997. The color is natural with the Ash body. The neck is maple with the rosewood fretboard. The serial number database didn't have notes on the pickguard color for this one unfortunately. The control cover was originally chrome. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.
This one was originally shipped to Sweetwater Sound Inc. Our database doesn't show the exact date they ship, but it's usually within 2 weeks of being completed. This one was completed on September 15th, 2015.

This one was completed on April 27th, 2010. It was originally shipped to Strings & Things.

This is a very interesting one. Unfortunately there is no record of that serial number in our database.
This StingRay 2EQ was completed on December 21st, 1999. The color is black with the maple neck. It was originally shipped to Strings & Things.
This StingRay 3EQ was completed on August 4th, 2011. The color is black with the rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Music Zoo.
Completed on March 22nd, 1991. It was originally shipped to Musik Meyer.
