I have a trans red finished with a nice birdseye (bit more subtle than the new "classic" models) maple neck SR5 with Serial# 59772. Would like to know it's date! Also any idea what kind of body wood its made of?

This StingRay 5 was completed on November 20th, 1991. The color is Blueburst with the Maple neck. It was originally shipped to High Tech.

October 7th, 1997. The body wood is Alder.

This Axis was completed on June 12th, 2000. The color is Translucent Purple with the Maple neck & matching headstock. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center. The trem arm drag set screw is 1.5 mm.
 
Hiya - SN F25847 Sterling Bass 4 single p/u. Discontinued color, burnt orange (looks like a 70's HEMI 'Cuda) I'd like the exact name and birthdate. Thanks!
 
hi Joel, i wont to buy a used MusicMan StingRay 5, the serial number is E89735, would like to know what was the original specification ( body color, finger board material, body material, pick guard, is pickup ceramic or alniko ?) and date of birt, tanks in advance.

This Sterling was completed on November 6th, 2009. The color is Translucent Orange with the Rosewood fretboard & matching headstock. It was originally shipped to Music Zoo.

This Big Al was completed on May 1st, 2009. The color is Vintage Sunburst with the Maple neck. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

This JP6 was completed on October 31st, 2008. The color is White Pearl with the Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Bass Central.

This one isn't coming up in our database, is there any chance the serial number could be something different? As Rod Trussbroken mentioned, if it starts with the letter "B" it would be pre-EB instrument. http://musicmanbass.org/mycustompage0052.htm

This StingRay 5 was completed on May 8th, 2013. The color is Honey Burst with the Rosewood fretboard. The body wood is Ash. It has the Alnico pickup. It was originally shipped with a White pickguard to Musician's Friend.

This Bongo 4 HH was completed on November 5th, 2003. The color is Lava Pearl with the Rosewood Fretboard. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.
 
Hi. Could you give me any info on my MM Bongo HSP F06698. Think it may be a prototype as it's rear strung and there are no notches on the tone controls. Thanks

Hi Rod.
I'm wondering if you could help me get the exact details on my Bass. It's an Ernie Ball 5 string Musicman, Natural, and I think I bought it in 1990 or 1991 in the UK. The serial number is: 50835.
