That is one sweet looking stingray. The body was made 3 days before I was born. (in my opinion thats cool it makes me feel special inside). BBUUTT.....what are you doing with that neck. It looks like graphite or is that one of those sub necks or something. And if your trying to get rid of it i think i know someone who might want it (me).

that is indeed a graphite neck. i had just removed it from the bluebeast prior to these shots being taken. I am at this point not interested in getting rid of it.. unless of course someoen makes me an offer i can't refuse that is. ;)

I doubt i can make a good offer but is that a moses neck by any chance? What do you like better graphite or wood? I never played a graphite neck and have been meaning to try a flea bass at my local store just to get an idea of what they sound like. I hear theyre great but id definately want to try one out before i ever ordered one or something. I need a job first.....

I love that finish too.just the other day I was salivating over the Silhouette feature in this months Guitarist mag which has a blueburst/white/maple Silo.

I'd even swap my SR4 in my other fave finish, trans teal for a blueburst one.I was a fender player till I saw a blueburst SR5 with maple board in about '89 or '90. It just looked (and sounded) different class.

thanks for the pics:)

hey,

thanks again guys... she really is a special instrument. I have really enjoyed playing her exstensively the last few days. what a treat to have in my hands! I am truly blessed with this one :)

the bottom end is earth shattering. just ask the singer of star-fist ;) ... she was very "moved" by her tone at rehearsal. hehe even made her sneeze

I have a translucent teal sr4 too. Rosewood fingerboard and the nonmatching headstock. I found it used so the finish wasnt even my selection but it definately grew on me. I just love it :D
