On the weekend a close cousin of mine suffered a major stroke aged 53.
He has been a farmer all his life in Mexico, Mo and has farmed land in excess of 3000 acres. Last time I saw him was when he came over to the UK with his family last year - Happier times indeed. We have spent a lot of good times together over the years and I love him a lot.
The news today is that the family will meet this afternoon to say farewell to him because it is only the life support machine that is keeping him going and without going into detail there is only one decision that can be made here.
There are many livelihoods riding on the decisions that have to be made over the coming months and I pray for my family as they make the decisions and come to terms with this tragedy.
I know that I have support from my friends on this forum.

I was hoping to make a happier announcement on this my 3000th post I now dedicate it to my cousin Dan.
