Its very nice of you guys to offer to fix the problem and I really do appreciate that, but how exactly can I explain whats going on when my thread gets closed down, and PM'ing you is off limits?

I love this company's products and have been a loyal user for almost the past 6-7 years now. I really don't want to change brands, and thats not what this is about. I would like the problem to get worked out, but as of right now I'm without a guitar because the first one had to be sent back and the second one got damaged by UPS. If you'd like to PM me or need my contact info or something, please let me know where I can send it to or whatever that way this can get worked out if its possible. Thanks.

Phil,

Listen I closed the thread for a reason. Its dead.

Here is the bottom line. You privately are never happy with anything we make. I think that I would love to make you happy but I dont believe that we can. I really want you to take this in the right way...stick around but really I think another brand may be best for you.

I have read your correspondence with Pete and instead of taking issue with you and your tech ..... YOu claim 5 out of 5 were bad and that you dont want us to fix it in your email to pete. He gave you a full refund and lets just move on. I love techs there is no certification. but that is another story. Lets just agree that another company can probably make you happier and stay friends.

I learned a long time ago that some times there just isnt a good fit.

Sterling, no offense, but you're wrong. I do love the guitars, hence why I haven't wanted to play any other brand for the past 6-7 years. Out of the 5 that I told Pete about, all 5 were sent back and fixed. Some I had to part with because of financial reasons, others I had to part with because I wanted to try out other EB's and couldn't afford to keep them all. Also, my tech is a certified luthier that went to Atlanta Guitar Works. You offered to fix it, which is why I asked if there was anywhere that I could send my contact info. I was psyched when I got the JPX. I thought it was a killer instrument and was psyched to get ahold of one, until I noticed the neck issue. I know that guitars are wood and this stuff can happen (I've seen it happen a bunch when I worked for Ibanez).

If there is a way the problem can be fixed, please do let me know. If not, thats fine too.

Phil Please Im just going by your words and the feedback I get from our repair department...Here is a direct quote in your email to pets:

"I'm sorry about the long email Pete, but at this point I'm so frustrated with the problems that I've had with 5 Petrucci's all new right out of the box, that I don't even know what to do about the situation and its making me sick to my stomach. Just to list the problems I've had and the guitars I've had them with, here you go:

Mystic Dream JP6 (Piezo preamp was defective and the whole bridge assembly had to be replaced right out of the box).

Mystic Dream JP6 w/RW neck (There was a huge amount of overspray on the headstock and near the first fret that created greyish dots)

Koa BFR JP6 (The body was dropped and had to be redone, gold hardware rubbing off after 8 months of ownership)

Dargie II BFR JP6 (The neck was misaligned with the body right out of the box, nothing lined up)

JPX (White residue in neck pocket, twisted neck, won't stay in tune)

Again, sorry for the long email, but I wanted to contact you to see what could be done about this. If its a matter of the guitar being sent back to SLO for repairs, I'd rather just have the guitar returned (if possible) and get my money back. I just don't see the point in putting money into another Music Man when 5 out of the 5 last ones I've had were defective. If you can Pete, please shoot me a call ASAP so we can see what can be done about this. My cell number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. Feel free to call me at any hour, I'd just like to get this resolved. Thanks Pete.

Point taken, Sterling. That email was mainly written out of frustration, as I'm sure anyone would be frustrated, and UPS damaging my replacement didn't help one bit at all. I'll still stay a member here, because I like the folks here and whatnot.

but here in California we pronounce it Jersey...

and besises what happend to Old Jersey or "joisey"... it's always been something that has had my brain rattled... I understand the "NEW" Mexico and how it was once part of the Mexican Territory... but New Jersey...was there an OLD Jersey that I don't know about?

Yes, South Park mentioned it, but I can't reprint any of it here. This is a family forum. :)

I'm from Jersey and I say Jersey....

 ughh....Actually, the rolls eyes face isn't right, I need one that shows a guy tapping his fingers on his forehead with his eyes closed and taking a deep breath.
What you guys don't understand is sarcasm or humor. Must be a 609'er from southern Jersey. :D
