My new guitars from Lucious

hey luke. Have you and Michael anthony ever played together? just was wonder how it sounded? hint hint hint. lol

yeah over the yars I have jammed live and in the studio with VH. Michael is a really nice guy. We did a few charity things back in the late 80's with a young Zakk Wylde and Warren DiMartini and the like, BIG hair/ tequila days. haha

Well, I have a KILLER band for my new solo record. Abe Laborial jr. on Drums ( McCartney-Sting etc..) Lee Sklar ( too many to list and a 30 year old friend) , Jeff Babko ( Simon Phillips-Carlton-Robben Ford- etc.) Steve Weingart ( El Grupo, Dave Wekyl etc ) on keys, Lenny Castro on Percussion and my son Trevor played some guitar and co-wrote 2 tunes that are killer, Biff is gonna play some acoustic instruments on some stuff and Phil Soussan on one tune on bass that we wrote with Trev and more to come. I am havin a blast and look forward to sharing it with you guys. Its different than my old band's music. Everything was cut with a full band and done in no more than 3 takes with no rehearsals. I HATE to rehearse. haha Some of the best ideas come right away when its fresh in the recoeding studio. Steve Macmillin is engineering and co-producing ( Trevor Horn-Seal- Mutt Lange, on and on) Its the A guys in my opinion.
Should be out late summer or early fall. i will keep ya posted. thanks for askin.

Thanks for the update about your solo album, can't wait to hear it, you have assembled an awesome band to record with, i think it's great to do some songwriting and recording by yourself, sometimes there's just too many opitions, thats what l'm doing at the moment just writing alot of songs by myself to get it out of my system.

I'm glad you enjoy your guitars, l hope to see you back here in Australia real soon bro, stay cool and god bless.

Thanks foir the good vibes. I am doing vocals all week. Tedious but the end result os worth it.
