Well, I should be getting a partial refund very soon for a custom bass I'm returning, so I went ahead and paid off my Sterling. The specs I chose are in my sig, and I ordered from Bass Central. According to UPS Tracking, it's due to arrive next Tuesday. Yay for me!

Hopefully, I'll be able to post some actual pics sometime next week... I'm freakin' EXCITED!!! :D ;)

Ahhh the joy of a new bass, congrats! House arrest for you on Tuesday, till the UPS man gets there, but what fun you'll have. :D

It's good timing for me because I was taking a vacation day next Tuesday anyway. I'm taking the Auditing portion of the CPA Exam next Wednesday, so I took a vacation day Tuesday to study...

I had a Stingray very much like that Sterling you've ordered.

Those orange finishes are even better in person, but.....

Good luck on your CPA exam, it's a monster. I remember when my wife took it, hell, the bar exam is nothing compared to that! Plus all the CPE's forever after that!

Thanks. I took the Financial part yesterday, and I'm certain I didn't pass it. I took a review course, but I wasn't able to keep up on the homework. I think I can be well-prepared for the Auditing part next week, though. I take the other two parts next month.

I'm doing all this with a 1 year old daughter and wife at home and playing in two bands...

Fortunately, my employer is very understanding and encouraging, so I can spend some time at work studying. Plus, my employer has monthly CPE sessions, so I can probably get a majority of my CPE credits from those sessions.

My God! You have your hands full! I can't remember the percentage of people that pass it the first time, but it was very, very low. My wife had to take it twice and that was way before the kids came along.

Good luck and I'm sure you'll do well,

Chuck

Congrats! I look forward to seeing some real photos of this color. I've always liked the shots that Jack has supplied. :D

I look forward to seeing it myself! :D I hope the Ash body has nice grain. A friend of mine had a new Sterling with some burst finish, and the body was very nicely figured. Of course, the bass sounded and played like buttah as well. ;)

Does anybody have a good place to host my pics? They're not the greatest pics, but the files are too large to upload all of them so I can attach them to my posts...
