Hey guys,

Mr M was right... I couldn't handle the wait. I was GASing for a fiver as a backup anyway, so I searched, and found her. :D I'm just saying, it plays AWESOME! More than that, for being a couple years old, owned by a high school student, and having a bent tuning key and a filthy fretboard when I got it (oh, and the original strings ) The action was perfect, the intonation near perfect; Music Man Basses truly are built like tanks! So I re-stringed her, cleaned the fretboard, and viola! Like new! (I even fixed the tuning key) I don't need a fiver often, but she's going to do just fine ;) Sorry about my lengthiness, now I'm even more excited about the Sterling coming :D

Now, question: is it cheesy to have two basses the same color? That part wasn't intentional, but just worked out that way. (At least the Sterling will have a Rosewood FB)

That bass was waiting for you to rescue it from the previous owner. I am sure it likes you as much as you like it!

Hey nice pickup, hope you play it more than you expect, PBB kills with the pearl guard. Looks like she's cleaned up well.

Not if something else is different. And in you're case, they're even two different models! So, no need to have them in different colours... (e.g. there are players who have two dozen black basses... but not on this forum ;))

This is making me jealous of that "I have a new MMSR" feeling :l

Although I'm not a big fan of matching headstocks, that color is stunning.
