Rod, E03881 is my SR5. I got more information from EB if you want to add it. It was indeed made in August of 1998. It is Trans red, maple fingerboard.

I also have a Feb, 1992 SR4 (confirmed by EB) 34188. Trans teal, roasewood fingerboard.

Wow, I should have thought of all this at once... my SR4, 34188, is 3 band eq, with with old style bridge mutes and metal battery cover. It originally had a black pg (now its white, though I'm thinking of putting the black one back on.

You can add: Transparent red with matching headstock and black pg.
