Just got a JPM six string, first Ernie Ball guitar, first "real" guitar (compared to my old ones). My trem fits but does not seem to go down all the way. It does not click, and although I can move the bar and make the bridge move, it comes out with absolute ease (it just feels like it is not going deep enough as it should, based on my other guitars). I called customer service but did not understand what I need to do to fix this. Do I remove the plate on the back and adjust the B screw posted on some other thread in this forum? It is not the spin of the bar, but the fit inside the bridge that is not working for me. No click, no lock. Seems to be too high (away from the mice, if you will). Any help greatly appreciated!

When I got mine, i didn't know the bar even came out. Try pressing it in harder, mine was quite difficult to remove. Replacing it was also kinda hard, I felt I was pressing quite hard before it clicked.

Thanks. I do press quite hard, and nothing. The bar has a brighter "polished" silver part and a more dull, darker "brushed" metal part (on the portion of the bar that goes into the bridge, not the part you grab with your hand). And I assume the whole silver bright part or most of it should go into the bridge. I can only get a very small part, maybe 1/6 or less to go in. It is as if the bar is too big to fit. I removed the trem back plate and did not see the screws that I thought people were talking about that could be adjusted. Maybe I need a different bar?

There's a little screw on the bridge block that you have to adjust by diving the trem. It's kind of a PITA since EBMM doesn't ship with all the tools to adjust everything on your guitar, so you'll have to find out what size allen it takes, but once you loosen it a hair, the bar should fit in just fine.

Thank you again. I thought that screw was to loosen the "spin" on the bar, but not how tight or hard it is to make the bar go into the whole.
