Sweet man! I love the look of the darker necks with the heavier birdseye like the amber axis you have. I had a stingray bass once with a realy figured neck and it looked class!

The amber neck is definately more flamey and darker...although some of that is fretboard grime since its my main guitar.

Actually the blue axis' neck has more birdseye figuring...but since the maple on this one is a little lighter (and clean ) the flash wiped the detail out...

I think the only way those two guitars could look any better is if they were surrounded by the seven I currently own!
