I dont like naming my basses :( I just call it by the model really. Although the Sterling is the sterling, and my HH sr5 will just be 'the 5 string''

Who cares?

I do, 'cuz it was me. Proudest moment of my life on this bord.
the second being the thong suggestion but we won't go there 'cuz we all know armagedon is coming.

I now know what it was like when Einstein hit upon relativity. I said, "Hey Jack, can you photoshop some eyeballs and a little pink tongue on that sucka", or something to that effect. I might be paraphrasing at this point.

And Rich, I'm really hurt. The last vestiges of my borken heart, borke yet once again. Crestfallen to say the least.

It's a little early to be pushing for an Oscar this year but I might as well get my face time in when I can.

Sorry, it has been a long week and I had just gotten done grading 103 research papers... the brain was a bit squishy.

Please accept my most humble appologies and my sincere assurances that it will never happen again, oh wise namer of bassesNot going for the Oscar, but an Emmy would be nice:D

Seriously, It was way cool having a hand in naming a way cool bass. Thank you for the honour.

Congrats on both Kermit and that awesome new rig.

I named my Stealth Bongo "Rebecca" after my ex. Looking at it reminds me of her heart - dark, cold, and sucking in all life and energy . . . .

I think I knew her sister.

erm .. was that before I married her or since ???

---------

most times I call my bases "that one" and "that one" ... but when I'm being affectionate towards them I call the 1980 SR "Senior" and the 1989 NRJ "Junior".

My 89 sr5 FL is called the BlueBeast. she was named before I knew her actual color name from the factory is "BLUBST". this is stamped in the neck pocket of the body. this bass is anything but a "burst" . more of a transluscent blue

my 92 sr5 Honey Burst is called "BABY" cuz she's my main girl (next to my wife of course ;) )!

finally: the 03 SUB5 is called "CHAR" for obvious reasons...

I always love talking about my "girls"

Mine is Clifford - for no particulary reason:D
I think that's how names are supposed to be. They happen, they, stick, they continue to seem somehow 'just right' but there's no reason or explanation for it.

Well, if you had a big bass, you could name it BigBallz. Hey, don't you have an EB Bongo about 4 ft long [when relaxed]?
