NAMM 2023 Sneaky Spy Content

I figured that it might've piqued your or @DrKev 's interest since you guys are wiring experts!
For me personally, I have an old style Silent Circuit in both guitars right now and I'm not sure it's compatible with that kind of switching system. Interesting though, for sure.

It's 12 years since Music Man did the Gamechanger. 12 years! Just goes to show how far ahead of its time it was. Technology (and people) have moved forward since then. The Duncan thingy will be easy to install, wireless in use, and doesn't come with the price tag of a top of the line guitar attached. I don't know if it'll be a huge seller for them but as long as the app remains useable and bug free it will do well.

None of those Luke colors do anything for me. Looks like I'll be looking at used and on-sale L3's... I could live with the Gatorburst, I guess...

UNLESS some of the SPECS have changed?
This is exactly what I‘m gonna do too.
I don‘t like the new colors.
No purple, I‘m out, so I do a search for another Firemist Purple or BFR LIII.

Re: L4 single coils, to date Music Man have never done noiseless single coils of their own design, preferring their own silent circuit with traditional design single coils. If they had, it would be a big deal and would have been made explicitly clear as part of their NAMM release. So I fully expect the L4 to have traditional design HT single coils.
