This also in yesterday! Forum Member '2ndBassGuitar' was kind enough to sell me this fine 1st edition Dargie Delight 5H. Thanks to him for an outstanding and smooth transaction. I am thrilled to have it.

Serial # E58905 if anyone know any previous ownership travels.

I'll give it a solid once over, cleaning and polish ASAP and post some pics in the Roll Call thread. But for now I offer these for the groups enjoyment:

Very nice, pretty rare to find a DD1 with a non-matched headstock. We all know 2ndbassguitar to be a true professional when it comes to buying and selling with quite an impressive collection. JOSH

Thanks all.

It's cleaning up nicely. Everything on the body end is all good, bridge cleaned and polished. Frets polished and fretboard conditioned. Back of the neck cleaned and treated with a fresh application of gunstock wax. The last area to spend some tie on is the headstock and tuners. When I got my first SR5 the tuners on that were incredibly grimy and they cleaned up like new so I have equal expectation for these and they are no where near as bad.

Thank you. Yes, the non-matching headstock is growing on my and I am beginning to appreciate its uniquity. My early preference was for a matching. But beggars can't be choosers as they say ad I am simply thrilled that 2ndbassguitar offered this to me. I'd be a complete fool to walk away on that detail alone especially when everything was just fine. It's funny, one of the more obvious things I hadn't' noticed is how position marker inlays favor a 4 string. The D string keeps them hidden just enough to become a well kept secret.
